Updated 14 October 2026Orders and customer support
Checkout asks for your name, email and delivery address. A phone number is required for some international destinations. We use these details, the pieces and sizes you choose, and your order reference to check delivery availability, calculate shipping, process your order and help with order enquiries.
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Please only send information needed to answer your question; do not send card numbers or account passwords.
Payment and fulfillment services
Stripe provides the hosted payment page. You enter payment details with Stripe; our own checkout form does not collect your full card number. We receive payment status and order identifiers so we can confirm payment and handle order support.
Printful receives the delivery and product information needed to calculate shipping and production costs, then produce and deliver paid orders. This means delivery details are shared when you request a shipping quote, before you pay.
Our website and API use Render hosting. Hosting, payment, fulfillment and email services process the information needed to provide their services and maintain security. These services may process information outside the country where you live.
Information saved in your browser
We use local storage and session storage for your bag, saved pieces, checkout attempt, day or night setting, sound preference and music controls. These features help the site remember your choices in this browser.
Saved pieces stay on your device when browser storage is available. Saving a piece does not reserve stock, place an order or subscribe you to emails. You can remove saved pieces through the site, or clear site storage in your browser. Clearing storage also removes saved preferences and your bag.
Visit analytics, performance and recordings
We use Umami, hosted for Marsell at stats.getmarsell.com, to understand visits, referral sources and page performance. Analytics describes pages visited, referring sites, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the connection, and how quickly pages load and respond.
On public store pages, heatmaps and session replays may record page content, page URLs, clicks, scrolling and other interactions so we can understand how the store is used. Input values are masked. Checkout, payment-return pages and missing-page responses are excluded from heatmaps and replays.
Pageview and performance reports remove unknown query parameters, URL fragments and external referrer paths. Public-page recordings can include the full page URL, including query parameters, and visible page text. Please do not put personal information in URLs when linking to the store.
We use these reports to understand which pages and channels bring visitors to Softwear, find slow pages and improve the store.
Music and external links
The site includes a Spotify music player. The Spotify embed can load after your first click, tap or key press, and communicates directly with Spotify. Spotify handles information from its player under its own privacy policy.
Links to Instagram, Threads, X, Marsell and other external services take you to those services. Their own privacy information applies when you use them.
Order records and privacy requests
Order, payment and support records are used to fulfill orders, answer questions, handle refunds or disputes and meet applicable accounting or legal requirements. Retention depends on the record and the requirements that apply; browser preferences remain until they expire or you clear them.
You can email hello@softwear.lol to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your information, or complain to a data protection authority. Some records may need to be retained to complete an order or meet legal obligations.
Include enough information to identify the relevant order or correspondence. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before acting on it.
